Born William Omar Landron in San Juan’s Santurce neighborhood, Don Omar has spent the past 25 years transforming the music scene. A true trailblazer, he’s credited with popularizing the sounds of his homeland, Puerto Rico, on a global scale. Widely hailed as the “King of Reggaeton” (also known as “El Rey” or “El Rey del Reggaeton”), he’s accumulated a staggering 100 billion units of consumption throughout his career.
Don Omar’s impressive discography boasts six studio albums released between 2003 and 2015, including his debut masterpiece, “The Last Don” (2003), the follow-up “King of Kings” (2006), and the sequel “The Last Don 2” (2015).
